Cutting sim from 3GS and using in an i4

Hi. To make a long story short, I'd like to take the sim from my wife's 3GS and cut it to work in an iPhone 4 that's on a new plan. Spoke to an AT&T rep about and he basically said it should work as long as I can make the sim fit.

Just wanted to get some feedback from others here before I perform surgery on the sim.

I did it last week, worked fine. Just make sketch it out with a lead pencil then perform the cut, try not to cut the simchip.
