I have a 10 minute song where there is 5 minutes of silence, and then a little something at the end, I have a copy of the little something at the end in a differnt file, how can I delete that 5 minutes, it a 11 MB song, one of my largest, I am wondering how I can edit out those 5 minutes, and save the space. I know how to make it end after 5 minutes....

Oh and I searched for this question...

We should deveolp a Mac Faq, but I gusse there already is one, just don't know where

This has been discussed before, and recently. I even remember answering it in the last month or so. But anyways, you can use any number of programs to do this. GarageBand or even iMovie are good places to start, since they should be bundled with your system.

My personal preference is Audacity, an opensource audio editing application that is very easy to use, and is free, in both senses of the word.
