Plenty of people have noted the bugs on MacRumors. Apparently, a lot have been fixed:

  • [Bugfix] Crash or spinning beachball after upload
  • [Bugfix] Active mode connections broken (FTP)
  • [Bugfix] Removed graphical error messages for the sake of simplicity; displayed in log drawer instead
  • [Bugfix] Hostname reachability check slow and blocking user interface
  • [Bugfix] Fails to delete folders recursively in some cases
  • [Bugfix] Unilingual builds broken
  • [Bugfix] Cannot delete symbolic links

Too little too late. I've already bought myself a Transmit licence... :(

On the other hand: It's nice to have a free backup ftp client... ;)

Just in case Transmit can't transmit suddenly.

I haven't run into the problems with Cyberduck thankfully, but this will make it easier to avoid any.

Great, I was having this issue a lot, hope it is really fixed. If it is fixed Cyberduck is perfect.
