I recently purchased a Cyberpower CP1350AVRLCD UPS system for my iMac.
Under Mac OS X 10.6.3, the UPS and the iMac don't seem to be communicating correctly. My Energy Saver preference pane doesn't show the battery charge level at all.

Anyone else having issues with Snow Leopard and UPS systems?
It seems to work correctly when I plug the USB cable from the UPS into a macbook running Leopard (10.5.8).

Thanks!

The disc that came with the UPS, in its read-me does it say the software it'll install is compatible with 10.6? You may need to go to CyberPower's website and download an update.

There is no external software for the UPS provided by Cyberpower. The UPS is solely managed by the Energy Saver pref pane.

Under 10.5, the pref pane communicates correctly with the UPS.
Under 10.6, it does not. (I tested this on a macbook and iMac).

Any other ideas?
