Hope someone can help me with this problem.
I own a MBP from 2007, running lion 10.7.3.
I recently got a Cyborg RAT 7 mouse. Downloaded the software from the website, everything works fine for a while. But sometimes I get this annoying problem where the cyborg icon in the menu bar would just disappear on its own. I think this happens when I run youtube videos and use the side scrolling wheel (I reassigned them as volume controls). Once the icon disappears, I can't get it back into the menu bar. I try starting the editor and testing it. The buttons are still assigned as I did, it's just the computer isn't recognizing the input b/c I guess the profile I set isn't being run. I tried going into the preference and checking/unchecking the appear in menu bar option and nothing happens.
Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks!
edit- btw, the icon would reappear if I restart my computer but that's a pain if I have to do that every time it disappears
edit2 - turns out logging off and on fix the problem too and youtube video with volume doesn't seem to be the source of the problem. This randomness could be problematic
