Cydia app to change carrier name?

Hey guys,

I'm not really sure if there's a tweak that can do this on 4.2.1 but I'm looking to change the OPTUS carrier name to something personalised. I've done it on previous versions but is there a tweak compatible with 4.2.1?

Look for FakeCarrier in Cydia, works fine for me.

FakeOperator just got updated and now consistently crashes springboard on 4.2.6. So watch out for that one.

I really want makeitmine to work with 4.2.1 because from what I understand it doesn't use mobilesubstrate to operate.

I'm using fakecarrier now though, until MiM works again.

Thanks everyone, it worked perfectly with FakeCarrier.
I also used to use MiM but was stopped in my tracks when I upgraded to 4.2.1! Hopefully support is added soon.

FakeOperator just got updated and now consistently crashes springboard on 4.2.6. So watch out for that one.

I haven't had any Springboard crashes on 4.2.6 w/ Fake Operator.

The only thing I've had a crash with is the known bug in SnowCover4.

FWIW, FakeCarrier made my iPhone 4 randomly restart about 10 times a day when I had it installed.

Same here. AFAIK Fake carrier just replaces a system file and then is done. Easier for some then SSH.
