Cydia apps keep timing out during download??

I just did my first jailbreak of my iphone, and im trying to download different themes and stuff and more then 50% of the time it says cannot reach host or just times out. Is this common or do you think im doing something wrong? Thanks

Same for me at the moment. I'd put it down to the servers in question being hammered with traffic at the moment. Give it a week or so to calm down a bit, for now just keep retrying.

It took me over a day of retrying to get Five-Column Springboard.
