I'm having trouble with the Cydia app "aptbackup" on my jailbroken iPhone 3G running iOS4. The problem is that after the phone reboots it goes to the apple logo then to a white screen. It repeats this over and over agian. Could I have done something wrong? How can I avoid this the next time I upgrade/restore my phone? Thanks!

There are a lot of cydia apps not compatible with ios4 so I would recommend manually installing your apps after you verify they are compatible with ios4.

Its probably trying to restore cydia apps/packages that are not yet compatible with 4.0 and it causes the phone to crash.
Dont use that unless all the apps that you're trying to install with aptbackup have been update.
Try installing them manually one by one or search to see what ones are compatible for the moment.
