So I installed ClassicDock (listed on the compatible tweaks list) and restarted Springboard as it instructed. I haven't been able to get Cydia to open since. Just crashes back to Springboard. I've done soft and hard resets.

Any suggestions or am I doomed to restore and start over?

Any while I'm here asking, I also tried installing NightMode8 which is shown as compatible as well. However when I bring it up in Cydia there's no option to install and there's a message saying it's not compatible with my device. How do I get around that?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried booting in Safe Mode (volume up when booting), then opening Cydia and then uninstalling ClassicDock?

As to the limitation, the only way around that I know is to install a version from a less than reputable repo. That brings it's own issues.

For myself, I'm giving the devs of the 60 or so odd tweaks I want to reinstall time to work things out. I've waited this long I can wait a little more. That's just me and is my opinion and is not intended to be a judgement on your activity.

Definitely didn't see it that way. The way I see it, I've got nothing to lose with tinkering and seeing if I can get the two or three tweaks I jailbreak for working early on. I'm debating just jumping back up to 9.1 since everything was leagues smoother up there.

Yeah, that's a thought (tinkering). For me though, every time I lose a jailbreak and then come back I've got a mess to clean up and organize. When I'm jailbroken I have a very specific layout of apps/folders that just goes all to hell whenever I revert to stock. So for me, the absolute minimum before I really get started would be FolderEnhancer, MoreIcons and Anchor.

So, since I'm waiting on those, I decided to just wait on the rest - assuming something specific doesn't cause an annoyance. An example of that had me install iFile the other day so I could force the Modmyi repo to add in and so I could shut off the damn camera shutter sound.

But other than that I'm waiting. I prefer to take the whole job on once and be done with it. Another reason though is I don't want to force anything. It's early days for the jailbreak and 9.1 should drop soon and if that's patched the exploits and Apple has stopped signing 9.0.2 then it's problematic if I need to restore.

Well hopefully it won't be long before they find another exploit for 9.1. I'm tired of running stock beta then losing everything when I decide to jump back and jailbreak the current public release so I plan on just sticking with whatever's available at the current time. It's going to be hard for me because I've experienced how much better 9.1 is.

Thank you soo much, this worked for me.

ClassicDock gave me the same problem yesterday, except my phone was stuck in a bootloop. Couldn't get into safe mode, had to DFU and restore. I jb'd again but I'm a little hesitant going off all these pre-approved lists of jb apps floating around, pretty sure someone's going around editing these and trolling us, lol.

I'm keeping this thread updated with tweaks I and others find working with the 6s and 6s+. Not sure what you're using but they should be safe for older hardware if they're working on the new ones.

Thanks. I'm on the 6S. Between the forums and Reddit there's a few list of tweaks floating around, with members having issues with green lit tweaks. I'll stick to threads such as yours with actual member feedback.

Fighting the exact same issue
I'm having the issue as well. What's weird is I JB my 6 with version 1.0 of Pangu and installed my tweaks with no problems. I then JB my 6s and iPad Air 2 with 1.0.1 and attempted to install the same tweaks and I'm getting the cydia crashing problem.
Uninstalling the tweaks doesn't fix the problem. Booting into safe mode (holding volume up while booting) allows me to uninstall the tweak but as soon as I reboot so the other tweaks will take effect it makes Cydia crash again. Very weird.

Edit: booting to safe mode and removing offending tweak then rebooting again does fix the problem. This is very weird.
Would this be a device issue or the jailbreak issue? Why would it work on my 6 but not on my 6s and iPad Air 2?

i am having the exact same porblem on my ipad air 64gb . i tried to trouble shoot by restoring my ipad and then re jailbreaking . After doing that i installed zeppelin as a test(it is compatiable with ios 9), after installing it cydia would continuously crash apon opening it . IF you find a fix to this issue pls tell me

Dis you guys install cydia substrate manually after you jailbroke? For some reason it isnt installed by default.
Usually it will install with the first tweak that you install and even some apps that use root. If what you have installed so far doesn't have it then its due to using unofficial sources or simply because the app in question wouldn't cause your iOS device to go into a loop because its probably sandboxed and doesn't touch other areas.

New poster here guys and gals. I'm on the sidelines debating on doing it. I'm reading a lot of people saying many apps are breaking Cydia etc. Yet you go to youtube and people are showing their top 10 top 50 tweaks and everything is working. Zeppelin is being shown in almost every video. Makes me nervous to JB.

You can jailbreak and wait for tweaks to be updated. Lots of people, myself included, do that. You can jailbreak and install nothing if you like. I don't see the point in that, but you can.

As far as YouTube videos, keep in mind a few things. When it comes to YT videos and jailbreaking most of the videos are either fake, crap, bad, outdated or misleading. Sometimes a combination of all of those things.

If you are seeing tweaks running without issue than I'd check the date on the videos. If it's anything earlier than a few days ago then it's most likely someone on iOS 8 (or earlier) and not iOS 9.

Or a dev is demonstrating a beta. Or someone has entirely faked it.

Give YT videos a wide berth in relation to jailbreaking. They've done more harm than good in the past couple of years as people try to follow stuff that hasn't worked in three or four years.

Don't be nervous.

Worst case is you restore.

Right now I'm only using RevealMenu.

Over time I'll add the usual tweaks I'm interested in.

Great point. But the ones I am Watchung have been last 48 hours and tech sites not a random person and they make sure to show their S model.

Some jb and wait for their tweak to be updated 100% so they are ready before the 9.1 update comes and kills the jb.

Makes no sense. Downloaded a known working tweak. Installs and works. Then Cydia crashes. So into safe mode I go delete and all is well. Happened twice. Maybe I have to install every tweak in safe mode??

Happened to me several times on my Air2 after installing Speed Intensifier on a completely clean, "virgin" system with only the beta of flux being installed. This has happened in at least three cases. (I've continously factory restored the Air2 between the tests.)

Finally, I got rid of Speed Intensifier. No Cydis crashes since then.

This seems to be a 64-bit only problem as I had absolutely no problems with Speed Intensifier on my 32-bit iPad2.

That's actually what I've been doing. The tweaks seem to work fine but they break Cydia. What I've been doing is boot into safe mode, install all the tweaks I need, and then reboot into normal mode. The tweaks take effect and work properly but then Cydia is broken. Very weird and it's dumb but it's working.
