Cydia has no 4.02 SHSH Blob?

Hey guys,

I have an Iphone 4 with 4.02 and am trying to restore to 4.1 while saving baseband 1.59 but I'm getting this message below from Tiny Umbrella when trying to save my 4.02 SHSH:


"10/11/2010 05:49:19.616 Asking CYDIA for SHSH blobs for iPhone4 4.0.2 (8A400)... 10/11/2010 05:50:28.290 This device isn't eligible for the requested build. 10/11/2010 05:50:28.301 CYDIA DOES NOT HAVE YOUR SHSH FOR iPhone4 4.0.2 (8A400) THERE IS NO WAY FOR YOU TO GET THEM. SORRY. YOU ARE JUST TOO LATE."


Is it still possible to restore to 4.1 and save my 1.59 baseband? Thanks in advance!!

That's correct, it is too late to get the blobs for anything other than 4.1 for the iPhone. I'm not sure about the baseband. I believe you have to wait for pwnage whenever that may be.

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry if this is a dumb question but can I save firmware 4.1 SHSH blob even though I have FM 4.02? Itunes is not letting me restore to 4.1 and save the baseband without having an SHSH saved. I'm getting error 3002. TIA

Yes, Cydia should do it automatically but I would use TinyUmbrella to request them so that you have them on your computer as well. Cydia normally saves the blobs as long as you selected the make my life easier option within Cydia.

By the way, you aren't missing anything by not having the blobs for 4.02 since that version could not be jailbroken or unlocked.
