cydia installation packages

hello guys, I installed cydia and it's all working well on 2.0.1 however in the installed packages, by default it seems is a whole lot of stuff I have no idea what it is, is this stuff needed for the running of cydia or can I now remove all packages installed. Thanks

well unless you went ahead and installed everything you saw, i would leave the default installed packages ALONE for sure.
