I don't know if there's a tweak, but you can use spotlight to search for "define apple" and tap web, and you will get the definition straight away. No muss, no fuss.
The definition is "fruit with red or yellow or green sking and to tart crisp whitish flesh" for those wondering

Oh, and forthly - you need to nag on hitoriblog to release the dylib (SpotlightExpander.dylib) as Open Source. Not many of of us speak Kanji =)
