I know back in the iOS 2.x days there was a app called Vibrus (I Think) where you could set you iPhone to vibrate 2 or 3 times total for SMS alerts, E-mail alerts and I think voicemail and missed call alerts also.

I was wondering if any of you have stumbled across a app that allows you to do this, and if so what its called and the repository fromwhich you downloaded it.

Thanks in advance.

asvibra makes your vibration longer
asvibra 2 makes your phone vibrate 3 times instead of once

Is there a certain repo I have to have, I don't believe I can find that anymore. That is the app I had that I was thinking of.

EDIT:
Found it, Thanks!

Asvibra 2 4.0 3 vibrates.

I have vibrate selected for SMS. Did I miss turning it on?

It doesn't work for me also. I tried both asvibras.

I got from source apt.iPhone-storage.de

Is there a better source? If I remember right there is no toggle switch, it just activates on it's own.

I also have a iPhone 4 with 4.0.1

I got asVibra2 working on my iPhone 4 after rebooting my device. It vibrates 3 times when I receive a SMS, but it also vibrates 3 times in any other instance. For example, during games like Doodle Jump when you hit a monster it will vibrate 3 times instead of just 1.

Is that normal? If so, it's kind of annoying.

It is "normal". Whether or not it is what you wanted or expected is another matter... Doesn't seem like there is any way to separate vibration profiles between different apps at the moment so we either live with it or set it back to boring old 1 vibration...
