Cydia/Spirit question

I just updated my iPhone 3gs to 3.1.3 because I had 3.1.2 and wanted the unteathered option. I was using blackra1n before and don't care about the unlock.

Anyway, I jailbroke it fine, and I know Cydia is overloaded right now, but my questions this.

Is the reason I can't downoad many of the themes and packages I had before because Cydia is so overloaded or is it another problem? Are any of you having the same trouble? I have quite a few of the paid themes I want back many of which are from Modmyi (I think that's the repository) which when I try to download it says host unreachable.

Very likely to be the case (overloaded servers). Cydia is hit or miss right now.

You answered your own question. Cydia is getting slammmmmmed and it may take a while to get everything downloaded and installed. You may even get a bad install because of the pounding. Patience...your stuff is not going anywhere and will be there when things settle down.
