I know this is somewhat of a minor issue, but I was wondering if anyone else experienced it. Normally when there is an update the "Changes" tab in Cydia shows a red badge indicating an update. This is no longer happening for me. The Cydia icon on my home screen will show a red badge if there is an update, but not inside the actual app.

Anyway to fix this or is everyone having this?

Im having the same problem. Just started about an hour ago. The app icon shows 2 updates. When i launch it, it doesnt show anything needs to be updated.

Yep, same problem here.

Going to the Changes section still allows you to perform the updates though...

me too, i wasnt even getting the substrate upgrade. i added ultrasn0w source to my phone, even though it was already there, but the latest version wasnt on there... after that all seems okay and i got my 2 badges for upgrades and i updated them.

My badges always show up but AFTER I do an update.

In other words, I go to "changes" see there are 2 in the change list (no badge notification), do the changes then exit Cydia. THEN the 2 update "badge" shows up. I have to reload Cydia to clear it.

Not a big deal, just weird.

That also happens when you have to respring because Cydia doesn't get a chance to refresh. It's a pain to open it back up to clear the badge.

Hasn't this be solved yet?
That Cydia doesn't show the update badge on the 'Changes' button inside Cydia?

Glad you asked.

Cydia Priorities:
  1. Make sure it ALWAYS refreshes, even if you just refreshed it 2 seconds ago
  2. Making sure it is SUPER slow
  3. Having the sources ALWAYS give error messages
  4. Announce that Cydia bought out Rock

:D

Wow, given these priorities, they're doing a superb job! :p A few more random 'Loading Data' and 'Reloading Data' messages would be nice, too. I don't know when they get all this work done, what with all the interviews they have to give and conferences they have to attend. The Cydia server being unresponsive for the better part of a weekend is the price we pay I suppose. :)
