Problem parsing dependency Pre-Depends

Please help. I need my jailbreak. Apple seems to stop signing firmware 4.01, so I cannot restore.

See if this will help:

Go to var/lib/apt/lists

Look through there and delete whatever source you last added(seems to be sources that people are adding manually causing the problem...) mine was a Myrepospace repository. There should be a packages one and a release one for each repo. Delete both. Dont touch any of the pre installed repos ie: bigboss, saurik, zodttd, repo666....

also go into ect/apt/sources.list.d and edit the cydia.list file. Remove the repo you deleted from the list also...once again dont delete the factory sources i have listed above just the most recent one you added.

this will fix it perfectly. I used iFile from cydia to do this its free and works like a charm...Good luck guys thatdudewhos@gmail.com if you need any help ill try
