Hi everyone,

I use my iPad to output video to my TV using the Apple HDMI adapter. I use Goodreader to play videos because iTunes currently doesn't allow syncing and playing of 720p and 1080p content on my device.

My problem is that while the iPad outputs video to my TV, the screen of the iPad stays on and probably drains the battery more quickly. When I had the first iPad, I downloaded videolock from Cydia to allow the sleeping of the iPad while video would still output to the TV.

Videolock works on iPad 2, but the difference is that I can no longer hit the sleep button on the iPad without the video cutting out while using the HDMI adapter. The audio still plays though.

Now my question is, does anyone use Videolock and know why I can no longer sleep my iPad without the video cutting out?
