So I've just received my Cyron ht1506e kit and was curious about how "durable" these things actually are. I was curious to know if I could leave these on 24/7 and never turn them off. I know the lifetime says about 50,000 hours (which is about 5 years) but will they actually last that long (or at least a couple of years) with non-stop continuous use?

Also, I'm not familiar with how electricity works so if possible, can you explain to me about how much power this system actually uses?

Thanks, Dale.

I haven't used Cyron but power draw is so little that leaving them on all the time will have little affect on your energy bill, and the long term durability of LEDs are spectacular. SureFire, a maker of tactical flashlights, drops their LED flashlights out of planes and they still work. LEDs are tough and they run for a long time. I'd run them non-stop if it will make your life easier. My 2 cents
