Hey guys,

I bought a D-Link DSL-G604T wireless modem router yesterday to hook up to my mac. The box says "Support Software - Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP, Linux and MacOS", but the installation CD provided in the box has only Windows software on it.

Does anyone know where I can find software for this D-Link modem? I tried the D-Link website for software and nothing is there :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Neil

You don't need the software.

Just plug it in via a cable to your laptop to start with and open a web browser to:

http://192.168.1.1

Login with username admin and password admin

Follow the instructions in your user guide for details but basically you'll need to enter the username and password given by your Internet Service Provider and then setup a password for the wireless connection.

Remember with the D-Link gear to Save/Apply the settings otherwise they go walkabouts.

After you've set it up wired you can use the wireless as well.

There's a copy of the user manual at

ftp://ftp.dlink.co.uk/dsl_routers_modems/dsl-g604t/dsl-g604t_man_v1.pdf

Follow from ~ page 10 onwards
