Hello all,

I have a first generation MacBook Pro 1.83 that has 802.11G. I'm looking for a non intrusive solution to boost my speeds so that my backups to Time Capsule would be a bit faster. I've looked at the D-Link 802.11N Expresscard and I'm not quite sure it would work.

I've got a year's worth of AppleCare left and don't want to mess with it by installing the MacPro card that other people have done successfully.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I know that it won't make a difference internet wise, but is it worth $99 for a bit more speed?
