D-link Wireless G Router WBR-1310 -and my macbook

Hi All,
I need alittle help and hope that someone maybe able to answer. I have a pc ( HP pavillion ) hooked up to a D-link Wireless G Router WBR-1310 and it works fine. I bought my wife a Macbook pro and it hooks up to my secure wireless router, but at times it will become very slow, and even stop for her when shes on the net. I can be sitting next to her with my HP and no problem with the signal at all. Can anyone suggest any ideas? I'm hoping to get a Macbook for myself soon and would love to be able to get this problem corrected before I do. Thanks again for any help you can give me.

I have the same problem with my macbook aluminium when round at a friends who has a wireless g d-link router. I seem to get a crappy connection dropping in and out. Whereas at home i can sit outside at the opposite end of my house to where the router (airport extreme) and still have full bars. Haven't had troubles on any other wireless networks ive connected to.
