d2 Quadra or Porsche

I'm stuck in a rut. With basically the same pricing, I'm stuck between the d2 Quadra 500GB (Model #301110U) and the FireWire Porsche 500GB. I know the d2 has 16MB Cache, but i'm really digging the Porsche's look. I really don't need anything too advanced, but I was wondering if the d2 is that much better?

I've heard that the Porsches have had problems. I have a 3 year old d2 that's doing just fine.
