Daft Question Regarding Sending Messages

..texts and like.

Is it possible to turn off that really annoying noise that the phone makes when you send a message or text?

When everything else regarding messages and texts is silent this still sounds.

The only way I know of turning it off is to slide the silent switch on.

Thanks, thats what I have found.

It's a bit of a bugger when you need to hear the phone go off but you still need to send texts.


What shall we call this scandal? Soundgate?
