I should be upgrading from my current mobile brick to an iphone 4 later this month and I am thinking that I will need some sort of protection for it.

I have a habit of keeping my phone in my top pocket which means if I bend down it would slide out and fall, something I have cured with my ipod by fitting a silicone skin which sticks like something to a blanket. Can you get a similar thing for the phone and can I couple that with some sort of screen (anti scratch ) covering?

What are the options and what are your recommendations?

Thank you.

Apple free case programs have some silicon options.

Power Support has the best screen films. Avoid Zagg.

Might wanna look at the iFrogz Luxe line. The cases have a sort of velvety texture to them. It's not quite silicon in texture but not completely smooth either so it might be a nice balance for you. Plus they look pretty good. For screen protection, probably Power Support or a ZAGG front will suffice for you.
