Daisy chain WD Mybook 2TB and LaCie 2 Big Tripple 2TB

I have been trying to daisy chain these two drives and have not had any luck. I've tried using Firewire and even USB and changing the order that the drives are connected. In one order, both drives wake up but only the first drive shows up. I just can't get the second one to ever show up.

The WD MyBook is the one with the display on the front and the LaCie is from 2008 and now has two WD 1TB drives in it if that matters.

Any ideas?
