Daisy chained eSATA drives connected to MBP via FW800

I have two hard drive docks that can connect via eSATA. My MBP only connects via FW800. I need to clone two hard drives as fast as possible. If I put each drive in each dock connected to each other via eSATA and connected to my MBP via FW800, and used Carbon Copy to clone them, would the transfer occur at eSATA(ish) speed or FW800(ish) speed?

One dock is the Vantec Nexstar and the other is the Newertech Voyager Q
