Hey guys,

I was just wondering, is it possible to hook up three thunderbolt displays to my 27 inch iMac? I know you can do a least two, but I haven't seen any YouTube videos of any more than that. Is there a limit to how many you can hook up? If so, is there a workaround available, so that I can hook up three thunderbolts to my iMac? If not could I hook up 4 displays to a Mac Pro?

Thanks in advance everyone.

The question I have is do you actually have a 9 foot desk that would fit 4 27 inch displays lol.

I'm positive the current imacs can support "only" 2 additional TBDs. The Mac Pros won't work since they don't support thunderbolt but you can still use the old Cinema displays.

I think it's just 2 as there's only 2 TB ports.

it doesn't have anything to do with the number of ports but since each TBD is more than just a hub, the imac cannot support the video output to more than 2 TBDs in addition to its own display.
