So I fired up DaisyDisk today for the first time. While perusing what it found for me I discovered that my Library>Application Support>AddressBook>Images folder is a whopping 71 GB. To put this in perspective I only have 237 cards in Address Book and they don't all have a profile picture attached. The folder appears to be filled with copy upon copy of the all the same images. It's a little bizarre.

So, now what? I'm thinking, trash the folder (or it's contents anyway) after copying the files I want to keep to another folder and then just attaching images to address book entries.

Any input? I'm guessing that giant folder is a little abnormal...

Thanks in advance,

Yes that is abnormal, trash the stuff in the folder if you don't need it, I don't think it should mess up the address book, especially since you said it's just the same picture over and over again
