Damage on MacBook

I have some cracking of the plastic (on both sides) where the risers from the display hits my wrist pad when closing. (Picture Enclosed). Will Apple fix this? What is the best way to get it fixed... to go into an apple store?

Yup, this should be covered even if you don't have warranty. Just go in and show them the issue and they will replace the top case.

I have the same problem but it's actually worse than what yours is. Not only did mine crack like yours, it actually cracked and came off. So now I have these ugly blank spots on both sides of the laptop. If you take it in let me know what they say. I might do the same.
