Wanted to get some opinions on this. I received an ipad 3 from a good friend of mine. Received it brand new it about two days ago but after realizing that the yellow screen wasnt going away i went to the genius bar. Because i didnt have the original card or receipt, the best they could do is give me a refurb (which im a bit upset about. mainly when its only two days old). When i got home, i saw that the refurb had a small chip on the aluminum bezel and on the black rubber gasket. It also had some light bleeds.

The closest apple store is 2 hours away so i rather avoid that route. if i call apple care via the telephone, will they do the express swap (where they place a hold on my credit card) for my ipad that has light bleeding and a little chip or will they deny me my swap saying the bleed isn't sever enough and that the chip is my fault (even though i have a receipt proving that i got it swapped today, making it hard to believe i did the damage).

Any input would be appreciated. Thank You!
