Hello, i received my 2017 mbp yesterday i suddenly noticed there is a damage on the box after inspection i couldn't see any physical damage on the device itself but i noticed on the right lip (apple logo facing on me) where the box gets hit or dropped there is a 1-2mm and i hear click sound when i pushed the screen on closed position . There is a tiny amount on the left too but it doesnt click.Its really hard to take a picture with my iphone) Do you think this screen gap is normal or I should send back?

You screw. Apple definitely blame on you because the box is also ruined. They will said you drop it. Only if you order online, if not probably hard to believe buy in retail.
 
Take it back to the store or contact them by phone as it was ordered online. Apple will not give you an issue with a replacement.

I bought my 2017 Pro from the Apple Store and when I took it out of the box I noticed damage to the aluminum. I took it back to the store and they replaced it immediately. Nobody accused me of causing the damage.
 
As others have said take it into an Apple store. I will add that you should do this as soon as possible to show them that you haven’t owned the computer long enough to cause damage to it. Also take in a receipt or deliver slip showing that you just received it and also the damaged box

I talked with them on the phone (bought from Apple)told them what happened and they will send me new one.But since it's 3.1 ,16gb,1tb,4gb it will take 14-15 days to get a new one thanks guys for the support.I hope the new one will be better.

It will be! Good luck just the same. Let us know how you make out. Apple is very good about this sort of thing.
