I'm trying to open this disk image that contains a program, but I get the message "the disk image you are opening may be damaged and could damage your system". When I click "don't open" it says there are "no mountable file systems".

I really need to open this program...how damaging could it be to my system? Is there any possibility that my program will still be inside the image and work correctly if i can get it out?

Where'd you get the disk image from? Can you get another copy?

It was from a torrent...but I'm fairly sure it's not a virus cause all the other comments are positive and about the program. I can get another copy, but you know torrents they'll take a long time. And I don't know why my copy would be different than others'.

"No mountable filesystems" means it hadn't finished downloading yet or it got corrupted along the way.
