the fates are against me. i bought a new hard drive to house my itunes so i can used time machine for all of my actual work. today when i finished setting everything up, to my horror my itunes library is damaged and i must open a new library for itunes to even open. This itself wasn't bad, so i thought, just start the new library on the new hard drive. There isn't anything there. Is there anyway of recovering this lost file? I have an ipod that was synced two days ago. The files themselves are still on the old drive, but i've lost everything. is the any way short of the slow process of reloading everything to get everything back to the way it was? playlists, and movies vs. tv shows, album art and what not? With 10k songs, 100 movies, and 200 tv show eps, i'd prefer not to do it the manual way if possible.

Thanks

Is the XML file still OK? That should be in the same directory as the iTunes Library file ([Home dir]/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music Library.xml
