I'm mid way through 2 year contract. Would I be able to renew my contract for 2 more years starting from today if I walked in to BB? I know I will NOT be eligible for the new contract pricing, I understand that but would I at least get to pay the $799 for 32GB as opposed to paying the unlocked price?

The 32GB 5s should cost $749 unlocked. I know AT&T offers reduced pricing on mid contract upgrades. I believe I could have picked up a 64GB 5s for $549 or $649 if I hadn't required an unlocked phone.

If you need to buy it at Best Buy, you'll have to ask them what your options are.

You can get an out-of-warranty replacement for $269. Even better if you used a credit card with extended warranty (assuming it just broke and it wasn't an user-inflicted damage), in which case you can file a claim and use the money to cover some or all of $269.

Thank you! I took it there and they indeed was able to replace it for $269+tax. I almost shelled out $799 for a 5s. It's a good thing I saw this and went to Apple first.

Best by charges $50 extra for their full priced iphones.

I actually just upgraded at an AT&T store. They took in my old beat up iPhone 5 and gave me a credit towards a 5s.
With the early upgrade discount $200 off paying full price I walked out with a 32gb gold for $260.
Not bad.

So they gave you $140 for your 5?
