I bought a 12" powerbook off ebay that had a damaged combo-drive. In replacing it with a superdrive, i pulled the power socket of the pcb. Oops! It fires up ok when i connect the two pads together, so i dont think theres any serious damage.
Do you think it will be ok just to resolder? Thanks for any advice.
