hello,

2 questions to the forum !
1) I see my 2006 macpro has some thermal sensors/ thermostats at the far top left end,
under the HDD compartments that have a plastic cover on them.

I found these sitting Behind the motherboard of mac.
Do they have to be hanging on the inside of the motherboard or not please ?
I try to figure out if they moved during transit. I dont notice problems with my fans insofar.

2) I recently purchased a used macpro 1.1 (2.1)
When i opened the side access panel some screws (see photo) fell down.

I realised that the aluminium 'locking pins' fixed on the panel edges, were damaged and
did not know it before purchase.

I also noticed that the (female) openings on macpro's case seemed deformed.

Can you give me some advise if you have a mac pro, if the hole/ openings for the locking pins,
compared to mine as seen in photos, are deformed to see if the replacement of the panel is a
good idea, or shall i leave it as it is (panel seals ok though, despite the above, nice magnets)

Thanks
