Dampening external HDD noise?

I have a MyBook, which sits on the desk next to my Mac. What's annoying is that it's noisier than the iMac and makes the desk vibrate.

At the moment I've put it on a block of paper, but there must be something specifically made for this? Like some kind of acoustic mat?

Just find a block of stiff foam, did the trick for me!
