I should have just pulled the trigger yesterday now shipping is 4-6 weeks. I was going to go back to the store today to figure out do I want space gray or gold.

Went for the gold paid the extra $10 to bump it up a bit. Hopefully they start shipping faster!

There's always a chance they will show up in stores soon. Then you can get one and cancel your online order as long as it hasn't shipped yet.

how are you getting the 4-6 time frame. i went online this morning lust looking and even with the higher model excluding the 1.3Ghz it tells me 1-3 day shipping.

Keep that order active. But I'm betting they go on sale in stores by the 15th or 16th; just after the first deliveries start showing up at people's homes. You may be able to snag one if you hit a store at the right time. Then you can cancel your online order...
