Dark Cherry Leather Case

What's up people. I usually run thin cases (ie Pitaka) but this year's Dark cherry is tempting as my first actual leather case. I've been following the Patina thread for a year and notice how bad the lighter cases end up. Of course, the black is the safest bet if uneven patina is a concern. But does anyone else think the Dark cherry will Patina nicely?

I think it will end up just getting darker and maybe (depending on use) looking almost black.
