Dark keyboard?

I notice when I get a text and I do a reply right from the screen, the keyboard is a dark keyboard which I would prefer.... There a way I can get that keyboard as my default without downloading a third party app?

How do you turn that keyboard popup feature off? I don't know how I enabled it but it's annoying as hell

The swype keyboard is fine (I've never used it before today) and dark.

One thing I find frustrating - when I use Google to search now if I click on a result the screen shifts (any keyboard) so the wrong result is hit. Poor interfacing.

I swipe downwards right above the keyboard pop up, and it gets tucked away. Reverse action to restore.
