Hello,

Just updated to Mojave.

I like Dark Mode, Wife doesn't.

So having a keyboard shortcut for fast switching etween these two modes
sounds like a good idea.

But,

I found the instructions for doing it in several places, but i have no Dark mode option
showing per the last step "at the bottom of the list"? Do you folks have it ? Or,...?

--Creating the Keyboard Shortcut. Open System Preferences, click on Keyboards, then go to the Shortcuts tab. Click on Services, and look for Dark Mode at the bottom of the list. Make sure the box next to Dark Mode is checked, and click on Add Shortcut. Jun 1 --

I like Dark Mode too, but it is "all or nothing." For example, I like Dark Mode in my photos and iBooks app.....but not in my email or messages app. You are not able to pick and choose where you want dark mode.....or can you? Let me know!!

Hi,

Your suggestion would really be a neat idea.
My guess is, although i don't know how to, it could be done by using the Apple App: Automator.

Right now, I'd really setTle for have a keyboard shortcut key to simply turn on or off dark mode.

Stay in touch,
Bob
