i tried all the fixes mentioned in the app to get the complication to update. Any improvement seems to be temporary. Today, it told me it was 79 outside, and it was 49. I have gone back to the native weather app. I did email my complaint to the developer. No answer.

Dark Sky is one of my favorite iOS apps but my arch-nemesis on the AW. In two years, it has never functioned properly, on various models of AW. I don't understand how their iPhone app is so good but the AW is so incredibly broken.

Carrot switcher here. Still using dark sky data but the customisation of the app is great and the complication customisation is just cosmic. I was on the fence for so long having only just bought dark sky but I really quite happy. Plus Carrot bot is pretty funny. She made a joke this morning about the autocorrect bug.

Has been really bad recently and I'd gone to trying other apps but wasn't happy with any of them. Fortunately Dark Sky has been working fine for the last few days. Hopefully it's fixed for good at this point.

yeah think it's pretty obvious that Dark Sky cares more about monetizing their data vs developing an app. which is cool -- there's plenty of other apps that take the data and present it better (Carrot, Partly Sunny, etc).

I just got a new apple watch and can't even get Carrot or Dark Sky as a complication option even though it says it is one. I'm thinking it is an apple thing. I followed many of the ways to resolve this with no luck including restarting phone and watch. bummner, going to give it more time.

Have you actually downloaded the Carrot app to your Watch? You need to scroll down the apps list in the Watch app on your iPhone to Available Apps, then Install Carrot.

once installed, you also need to enable carrot in the complications menu (top level of the watch app on the phone)

Yes, it's remarkable that Dark Sky is so excellent on the phone and so janky on the watch.

Right now it says it is 19 degrees F and that sunrise is in 319 hours. That is three-hundred-nineteen.

In reality it is 70, sunny, and I am nowhere near the Arctic Circle.

Yet it is dead right on the phone, and I'm using the AW LTE3 with the latest firmware and a clear connection to the phone.

I stick to ds’s notifications sent over to the watch, but I don’t have the watch app installed because it sucks so much. I just use the stock app. I don’t want to pay for another weather app, plus I hear that carrot doesn’t send notifications when it’s going to rain or whatever...is that true?
