I like Dark mode, but "Highlight colour" doesn't work properly.
At first, I left default "blue", but text selections in some apps turn illegible. I've tried using a personal color, carefully chosen to minimise this "bug" (?).
It's been happening always this way for me. No fix in last upgrade (10.14.3). I'd like to keep using old & known "blue" highlight... but it's unusable. See my snapshot with a modified blue in Preview (a .pdf) and Safari, some text selected, side by side:
I haven't read about this happening to others.
