Darn 17" PowerBook G4

Got the fellow since 4 1/2 years, thought it's finally time to upgrade with the MBP i5 and i7 launch, but hey, that G4 is still running strong (well Photoshop needs some patience haha), Apple still supports the machine with security updates and so on.

No, am no fanboy, also looking at the Envy 15" - but also remembering that a Windoze machine had to be replaced every two or so years because of the inevitable slowing down and other issues ...

Well, maybe sticking with this darn PB G4 for some more time ... Those upgrades look tempting, but if you're no gamer or film editor ... what the heck.

Windows isnt that bad, i tend to replace my laptop every 2 and a half years out of sheer habit and updating technology, I know its a waste, but what the heck
