I've got the TomTom car kit for myself and my wife. I'd like to have one of those dash pads that you mount the kit to and can move around. I've seen two basic ones. One that is a tacky skid resistant pad that you stick it to, the other is the heavy bean bag type that you put on the dash.
Examples:
Beanbag

Grip pad

My top concern is the higher profile of an iPhone in the TomTom kit might cause the whole thing to tumble off the dash when accelerating onto a freeway or uphill.
Any experience with these and the kit/iPhone?
