dashboard animation

is there anyway to have the close widget animation within the dashboard work with regular app windows outside the dashboard?

Does anyone else think that would be cool?

meh.

I think that actually would get sort of annoying. You're normally closing regular application windows much more than Dashboard windows, and having to see it all suck into a little box all the time would get obtrusive.

Widgets are a gimmick and can afford to be resource-intensive but I think it'd be a strain on the system for all apps to close this way.

It would still be better than having the 'ripple effect' every time you opened a new app. Now that would be a resource hog .

Yeah, I want to be able to drag minimize windows out of the Dock and plop them down like when you put a new widget on the Dashboard.
