I was thinking if any one knows if you can create a dashboard widget for you company intranet. I am not a person who has all th eknowledge about all these technological things, but I have a kind of a project and I was thinking that if I can show my manager if the company can have widgets for its intranet. Of course I will not be developing or creting those widgets the IT department will do that if they approve it. Is there a security threat using widgets on your intranet. Also if this is not feasable I will not telll my idea to my manager, however if it can be done then I just need to show my manager how it can be used by the employees and details of what the widget does. Does any one know of a site talks explicitly about widgets in the business world and also how you create it and stuff like that. Oh and this will be for windows and the company unfortunatly uses windows.
