Dashboard shortcut keys with Expose

So every so often i will try to access my dashboard with one of the Expose shortcut keys and i will get nothing. Then i'll go into expose preferences and none of the shortcuts have keys selected. Any thoughts? I've probably had to reset more than 3 times in the past week.

the Dashboard & Exposé keyboard shortcuts and mouse shortcuts as well as the Dictionary panel keyboard shortcut is cleared after either deleting or restoring a file in Time Machine.

you can restore them in Keyboard shortcuts preferences, Mouse preferenes and the Exposé preferences.

im very angry that this wasnt fixed in 10.5.2.

That would do it. I've deleted a few backups and have never put the two together.
