There is the weather widget but, is there a Canadian widget for weather?

Flip the widget over and you can put in your city and change to Celsius.

After you type in your city, hit the return key and several options (cities with the same name) might pop up, and don't put in the abbreviation for your province as I don't think the widget will recognize it.

Is there a way to extend the corners of a certain widget? To reduce scrolling on those sports score boards?

The built-in ESPN widget doesn't allow for resizing, but some 3 party widgets do. You might check out the widget's section of Apple's download site and see it there is a sports widget that is either larger or allows for resizing.
