When I open my dashboard nothing works, I cant write on my sticky's, the information on iStat Pro, weather, clocks, stocks and all other widgets don't show.

I am connected to the internet so the information should be updating, I've deleted the widgets off my dashboard and re-added them but it still wont work.

Any ideas on whats up and how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Dashboard is a subset of the Dock...so modifying the dock could have affected it.

have you restarted the dock?

Type

killall dock

in terminal.

Only make sure you actually enter

killall Dock

in the terminal. Capitalization does count in terminal commands (as you will see if you enter killall dock). ;)

BTW- Restart will effectively do that too, but the terminal command is handy if you want to see changes to the dock in between restarts.
